Breast Augmentation Fayetteville
Breast augmentation, commonly referred to as a “boob job,” is a surgical procedure performed to enhance breast size or correct asymmetry.

Using breast implants or natural fat transfer, this procedure can resolve breast asymmetry, restore lost volume after breastfeeding or weight loss, or add volume to smaller breasts, creating pert, round, youthful breasts that look and feel natural.
Do you wish you had fuller breasts?
- You would like more symmetrical breasts
- Your breasts are fully developed, and you are at least 18 years of age
- You would like to add volume to your breasts

Breast implants vs. fat transfer
Choosing the right type of breast augmentation for your individual circumstances is important. Generally, a fat transfer is the better choice if you are looking for a small increase in size. Fat transfer is a one-time procedure with changes that should last for a lifetime.
However, if you are looking for a more dramatic transformation, breast implants offer more flexibility to both you and your surgeon. Together with your surgeon, you will choose the size, shape, type, and profile of your implants. During your initial consultation, your experienced Radiance by Roller plastic surgeon will help determine the best fit for you.
Saline or silicone implants?
- Saline implants are filled after they are inserted, which means the incision site is often smaller, and scars are less visible.
- Some people think silicone implants look and feel more natural.
- Since saline implants are filled with saltwater, they are sometimes considered safer. In the unlikely event of a rupture, you’ll notice it right away, and the saline will be reabsorbed by your body.
- You can get saline implants from the age of 18, while you need to be at least 22 years old for silicone implants.

How long does the surgery take?
Breast implant surgery is typically an outpatient procedure. The first step is anesthesia, usually intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Before your surgery, you and your surgeon will discuss all the details so you will know exactly what to expect. Your surgeon will make incisions for your implants and insert them either over or under your pectoral muscle. Once they are in place, your incisions will be closed with sutures.
The surgery itself will only take about an hour or two, but you will need to arrive an hour or two ahead of time and will need to stay after the procedure for observation. You should plan to devote a full day to your procedure.
How much time will I need to take off from work?
You should be able to return to work within a week or so. Full recovery typically takes about four to six weeks. We will provide you with detailed post-surgery instructions to help make your healing process as smooth and rapid as possible.
